NDA will not deliver to area retailers on Monday, February 23, 2026 due to the blizzard but expects to resume operations on Tuesday. NDA will suspend delivery for one day and some publishers will not publish February 23 print editions.  Retailers may expect delivery later in the week of the weekly and other frequency periodicals that they typically receive on Mondays.

New York City Mayor Mamdani declared a state of emergency from 9 PM Sunday to noon on Tuesday. Governors Kathy Hochul and Mikie Sherill likewise declared states of emergency for New York and New Jersey. Blizzard warnings are posted for the entire NY Metro area. The New York Times reports that the city may get up to 24” of snow from the storm. The New York Post warns that winds up to 60 MPH are expected.
