Print remains a dominant platform

Fifty-five percent of the total newspaper audience relies solely on print.  That, according to the Pew Research Journalism Project.  The complete details of how the audience consumes news by media platform were:

  • Print 55%
  • Print/web 15%
  • Print/web/mobile 10%
  • Web only 7%
  • Print/mobile 4%
  • Mobile only 3%
